Possible getting a IX MR
Possible getting a IX MR
Hey guys sorry for the n00bness here but I'm looking at getting into a IX MR in Tarmac Black. I currently have an '01 Audi S4, and I've worked on it quite a bit and am very knowledgeable about turbo cars and such. I don't know much about Evo's however, and I'm looking for someone to start me off on the right direction. I want to do an ECU flash, TBE, possibly IC's, boost controller, intake, etc.. I just need some help knowing what sites to look at, what most people do as far as upgrade path's are concerned, and just some general information about this car and the after market aspect of it. In a little over a year I went from not knowing what kind of engine was in my S4 to being able to perform any regular maintenance or after market install on the car thanks to many helpful forum members over on audiworld, and I want that same expericence here.
Thanks in advance for all your help!

For the most part evo's are pretty easy to work on! Most people do MBC/Boost GaugeTBE/FLASH as their first mods..there are also staged packages from certain vendors! There is alot of aftermarket for evo's!

You dont need to change the IC. But the LICP is a good mod. Intake - dont. You only need a drop in filter or a cone filter (with tune).
IX - TBE, MBC, tune.
Vendors:
TurboTrix, Jestr, Buschur, Vishnu, AutoMotoSports....
