ix has mivec and gets way mor whp out of simple mods. the ix comes with twin 5 spoke enkei's while the VIII comes with 6 spoke enkeis. the ix has a tighter gear ratio. ix has black recaro's and the VIII has blue recaro's. i think that is it if you have the money get an ix or at least an 05 VIII

ok as said before the seats are different and the IX has MIVEC even though that the MIVEC on the IX only controls lift it does not control timing. The front end is different as in the grille where the emblem goes the rear end is a little bit different also there is a bigger turbine housing on the IX and also on the VIII there was a kit that would spray you intercooler with water which was removed from the nine and of course as with each year the ACD and LSD are slightly more advanced. But with the MIVEC thing i dont know why they did not have it control timing also i bet that the IX would be pushing around 300 horses stock if it did those are the differences that i know of go and check other sites the info is so easy to find really

Ahhhh this question again. I'm bored, so here you go...

Exterior:
* Different front bumper and grille
* Smoked headlights and taillights
* Body-colored rear wing inner supports
* New Enkei wheels (slightly lighter)
* HIDs standard only on MR, packaged with IX SSL and IX SE

Interior:
* Faux carbon-fiber dashboard trim
* All-black Momo steering wheel
* Black-and-gray Recaro seats
* Aluminum pedals

Engine:
* MIVEC applied to intake side
* Slightly different turbo components
* Different valve cover (says "MIVEC TURBO")
* Rated at 286 hp and 289 lb.-ft (actually around 300 hp)
* No more intercooler waterspray
* More responsive to minimal mods

Drivetrain:
* Same as '05 VIII

The IX has two fewer II's than the VIII but it has an X which the VIII completely lacks. And X is the coolest letter of the alphabet.

Umm.. all of the fastest Evos in the USA are VIII's. So that pokes some holes in your theory there, bubba.
