First Mods?

Well while im waiting for my evo ive decided to start buying parts and other things like that to get ready. I was wondering if you guys could tell me what are some good mods to start with that will not void my warranty.

~Thanks.

dont mod if you want your warranty. Or be ready to go back to stock if you want warranty work done.

Also, get used to the car in stock form, then mod.

go to a driving school, learn to drive the car, most people have their evos drive them rather than the other way around...hit up a local autox and you will see what I mean...

Keep all your stock parts so when you **** it up, you can put them back on and take it in for warranty work.

What's your goal/use? Drag racing, tracking, autocrossing? How far do you plan to take it? I.e., light mods for while, then major mods after warranty expires? Or just light mods? Track monster, daily driver, weekend warrior, garage queen? Kind of hard to make a recommendation without knowing what you're trying to achieve.

I was wondering if you guys could tell me what are some good mods to start with that will not void my warranty.
Stuff that's easy to undo, hard to detect, or universally considered to be benign. Easy to undo: catback/axleback, drop-in filter, ecu piggyback. Hard to detect: reflash, engine internals (unless you throw a rod), porting/polishing. Benign: cosmetic stuff like body kits and badges, gauges, turbo timer (maybe).

That leaves out stuff like springs/coilovers, I/C pipes, intakes, boost controllers, etc.

Looking around for first mods as well I came across several ideas.

People suggested starting small, TT (turbo timer), boost gauge, other gauges. Then once you decided your intention whether its a daily driver, autocross, shop car, show etc start looking into possible high end mods.

I personally want to go all out and get a Vishnu flash lol. But thats just my dream right now.
