OK another proud papa!!!
I have had this car for a little while, but been busy with work and breaking in the car and bedding the pads. This car is sOOOOOO fun. Totally worth being in a little debt.
I told the dealer not to wash the car, so its a little dirty and dusty, but I rather have that then swirls.
The paint is outrageously cheap
.....already have my first scratch and two rock chips on the fenders at about headlight level. How I got rock chips there I will never know. I thought Honda paint was cheap, but Mitsu takes the cake. And the floor mats even on the MR are cheap as hell and fuzz up really quick.
I have been varying the throttle position and havent gone above 5K. Still a fast car below that though. 6th gear is kind of useless unless you are going 90MPH or faster...
But yah....enough with my rant. Here are my first pics of the car.

I LOVE THIS CAR!!! AND I'm going to get it professionally detailed soon and I have mods sitting on the floor of my storage room....ROFL!!

I was hoping that the Mitsu would be better than the Honda paint which I thought was just watercolor
Congrats on the new buy.... I'm still on the fence between Sti and Evo IX MR... I have an s2000 right now and looking for something that I can daily drive.

I say go and drive the STI and the EVO back to back....the difference is actually HUGE....that's what I did and the STI felt like a slug...handling was not sharp and crisp and the seats annoyed the crap out of me.....that and I dont like the new styling on the STI.
But yah Honda paint is way better than Mitsu paint. But even barring the bad points I still love the car!!! The FUN FACTOR is not to be ebaten by any other car in this price range.
And before anyone asks I'm in CA and paid 36,300 out the door with no financing bought in cash. I heard of other people getting better deals and I'd really like to know how because that was with employee pricing.

Congrats on the car. I wanted black too but I remembered the pain of keeping my black truck clean.
