This isnt a question of how much yours is per month but does anyone know how it works when you are insured under a parent? Right now the insurance quote on the evo is too much but I hear people paying close to nothing by being insured under their parent. Can anyone help me out and tell me how this works?

 

legally a parent can only insure you car if their name is on the title also. if it is, all they have to do is add you and your car to their policy and you pay the difference. it will be alot cheaper because they will give them a multi-car discount.

 

The car will be titled to my parent. So I geuss that would work considering they will not pay 6k a year for insurance for me.

My quotes were as followed:
BMW 328xi - 358 per month
CLK 320 - 320 per month
Evo - 505 per month

All brand new rofl. Insurance rape =[

I suggest getting a job...how is it your parents have the money for everything else but not insurance?

 

Just because my parents can afford it doesnt mean they should pay an absurb amount for insurance.

 

I suggest you look for a cheaper car to insure. 505 a month is insane!

Yes im under 25. And I checked online. We have farmers insurance. Thats with the crazy standards my parents have. What they have on allt the cars a comprable to the Super, or Superior packages from other place. 300,000 property damage other stuff like that.

 

wow. find a different insurance company
