This ET can't call home

Hope you Guys are doing fine this weekend. Once it stops raining I will do the first wash and wax eh.
I have no problem with whatever perception coworkers have of me. I am just trying to catch a felonious criminal. Hit and run is a felony in Texas is it not? If this person gets comfortable doing this who is to say they won't do the same had they ran over a person in a dark alley?
It's not a door ding and whoever did it must have known because the mirror also folded and I have tire burn on my rocker panel.
I have no symphaty for hit and run crimes and careless drivers.

Maybe the person made a snap bad decision and felt bad about leaving, or maybe the bastards did it on purpose, or most likely they felt a small bump and didn't think twice about it.
Same happened me (not the Evo ). I found the person and got my money--$1,100. It happened at work. It was tricky because it was a coworker and she wouldn't admit hitting my car. she never admitted hitting my car to me or anyone else at work but still agreed to have her insurance pay. I found matched paint damage on her car, then I quietly confronted her, she felt bad I could tell but she still wouldn't say yeah I hit your car to my face.

Hey, I totally agree that you should find the person and make em pay and they were wrong to leave and not take responsibility. And it really does suck this happened to a new car...But felonious hit and run criminal? Isn't That a little dramatic?

Hit and run is a felony for a reason. Or at the very least leaving the scene of an accident is still a crime.
Perharps I was raised differently but if I was negotiating at close quarters to cars in a paved parking lot and I felt a bump I would go and investigate to see if any damage occured.
I know it's a small shot for the perp to be on here also but in case you are please rest assured that you have poked the wrong hornest nest and I demand satisfaction.

I agree with the above- I just got my EVO and I have seen and heard stories about people I work with who flip their doors open and slam them shut and don't care what they do- I have warned the office that if there is a ding on my EVO that they WILL pay for all damages so be careful if you park next to me. THe friend of the fam that got me the job even backed into another co-workers vette and denied doing it- The cop came and said "who drives that van?'" and she was nailed and paid for it- I wish they would make it a portion of driver's ed that if you ding someone's car don't be a P*ssy and Man up for what you did
that sucks what happen to your car. some guy did that to my wifes car and he got delt with in a nice way! anyway id suggest getting a good paintless dent guy to take that dent out and get the scuff buffed out and it will look brand new again! good luck
but the fact seems to be that they are gone. And Quicksilvr2 has no idea who did it.
Its just not worth fuming and crying over, if you can't find em just fix it and forget it.
its like a mosquito bite. you feel the sting and splatter it with quick swat. But if it flies off do you track it through the woods?
Sorry to here that. And most likely your deductable is 1000.00
I want to start selling video surveilllance packages to evo owners! If only you had video to catch your crooks! I am looking into an affordable kit for people who love there car as much as I do and want to keep an eye on it all the time!

My car will get fixed, the perp that this to my car will get my full attention and pursuit (call it whining, fuming if you must). Sorry I am just not morally flexible like that to dismiss crimes.
But the bigger picture: since you seem to not have any useful position to me apart of belittling and throwing insults my way I hope you don't mind that I am adding you to my ignore filter.
So long and enjoy.
To the others thanks for your support
I hate that. I actually saw someone do this once. I was sitting in a mall parking lot waiting for my mother. About 3 spaces away from me was a mini van and next to it a jeep suv. There was no cars in between so i had a clear view. Four kids got into the jeep and the driver began to back up before one of the passengers had their door closed. the open door scraped down the side of the mini van. they stopped for a second and then took off. Unfortunately for them I got their plates and the make, model, color of their jeep. I waited for the owner of the van to come out and told her what happened and gave her the info. It felt good to know that those idiots most likely didn't get away with that hit and run.

I have a 16 camera system at my new house that I can watch remotely over the web.
But a mobile system will be sweet.
Some cities like London, England actually have street surveilance system where they can follow a criminal accross at least the town center.
It's shame that we have to spend resources that way.
My deducatable is $500 I think but I will just drive the car like that (and feel bad everytime I walk to my drivers door which is like everytime I drive the car) until I get a JDM rear bumper and do the work at the same time.
Seriously I am happy to be on this board and be a member as it seems the majority of us really do care about our cars. Beleive it or not I feel less bad from reading the support from you Guys.
damn that sucks bro, I just had that happen to on christmas .
Some lady in a f-150 backed into my front end cracked bumper and bent the hood right above the mitsu symbol. So I know how you feel bro.
Good luck with the search.
$2400 in damage to front end

Wow, Man I'll shut up now. That truly sucks.
But here is the kicker, how much more time would it have taken for the Lady that ran into your car to take some additional care? I just think some people don't give a rats patootoo when it comes to others property.
