help thanks...

i was wondering if the rubber peice under the car that goes from one end to another functional??? cause we had a snow storm here and i drive the evo everywhere, and now is like teared apart, thanks

I'm assuming your talking about the plastic piece the covers right under the front bumper back going back? Yes its serves a purpose it protect your car from all the crap and stuff on the road like rocks, water, whatever...and kind helps to keep you engine bay clean. I'm sure it has some areodynamic features too.

if not please explain..I'm kinda going on what I can understand from your sentences.

not the plastic peice that is under the bumber, its the rubber peice. i think it suppose protect you from scraping but not sure about if there is anything functional about it, cause it's really busted.

oh ya...that thing...man I rubbed mine away along time ago it didn't serve me much purpose but, If you feel that its necessary to replace it go ahead. Mine came off after going in and out of a parking garage...my car ended up doing nose dives and rubbin it off day in day out. oh well.
