rear strut brace?
I'd have to agree that most folks aren't likely to benefit from such a mod, especially if they mostly focus on decorating the Evo. Out of three GTSpec trunk cage installs I've seen on EvoM, two were installed incorrectly and their respective owners had no idea. I think it's safe to say they saw no increase in actual performance, nor could they tell a difference to begin with.
At the same time, I wouldn't suggest installing a larger rear anti-sway bar, either. Knowing how much the Evo can oversteer in stock form, a stiffer bar can only get an less experienced driver into trouble. As for changing the stock suspension for racing, one would have to be an accomplished pilot to outdrive the stock setup. Modding is an easy concept to throw around, but in reality modding and improving aren't necessarily the same thing.

Better or different? Something tells me you've never actually compared the two.

at least i do...
And BETTER IS ALWAYS DIFFERENT!!! that is the way we spend money!!! If the better is not differrent, then something is wrong, simply that is my opinion.

Sorry, I don't know what you're trying to say.
While better is ultimately different, different isn't necessarily better. I guess I should have made myself more clear. It's easy to make the car handle differently, but it doesn't mean that it handles better, especially if parts are arbitrarily thrown into the project with no regard for individual driving style, skill level and overall application.
And BETTER IS ALWAYS DIFFERENT!!! that is way we spend money!!!But if it's no different when you buy "better" ...Then something is wrong ,that is my opinion.
