Performance or Visual? Opinions please!

I have a 2006 Evo MR. im saving up this winter until the summer when i plan on moding it. i already have tein coilovers and im gettin reflashed tomarrow. i would like to her the opinions of other Evo drivers. should i at first go for performance mods or for visual mods? the performance mods would b just bolt ons, and the visuals would mainly be carbon fiber parts to match the carbon fiber in my interior and the gunmetal BBS rims.

get a combo but mostly performance mods
all body mods and no performance mods is just g** in my opinion, plus some performance mods make your car look better in the process such as an exhaust, and intercooler, a tubular manifold with a garret turbo, you get my point. if i were you i would go through the staged performance packages including a full exhaust boost controller, gauge, tune, fuel pump, and such then do a few little cosmetic things but please no body kits, stick with simple exterior such as a lip and wheels or window tint. good luck though

Depends on whether you want to maintain a warranty.

Are you happy with the performance? Then visual.

Happy with the visual? Then performance. Unhappy with both? Then do both at the same time.

If you are driving an EVO and you aren't happy with the performance or the looks maybe you should buy another car, LOL.

Performance before visual. No point in a car that looks fast if it's barely faster than stock. But a car that looks stock with a 170whp increase to stock is great.

I'd have to agree with the advice above ^^.

Heck, go with a tune, downpipe, ported exhaust manifold, 02 and keep the stock catback for a "stockish" looking car.

well thank you for everyones opinions so far. i am getting me car reflashed tomarrow, and i am lowered and i have tints. i plan on alternating between moding visual and performance a little bit at a time. i am only 16 and i dont have a job but i have been saving up for pretty much my whole life to mod my car so i have a good amount of money to play around with. well as time goes on i will make sure to list my mods. thanks again to those who have commented so far. and id love to hear some more opinions

Performance man definatly...stock looking evo's with 350-400whp that can rip cars left and right leaving expressions on peoples faces like what the h*** is in that thing or an evo that looks sweet as s*** but has 300 whp...its all what you want but i'd go performance bro!

my .02
