Should I wait for the Evo X

I sold my 2005 Sti about a month back and now need a new car, been driving my wife's TC for the time being. I was thinking of getting a new EVO IX MR but then started thinking about waiting for the EVO X.

What do you guys think? Will the Evo X be much better, should I wait?

Oh and heres a shot of my old STi

You should have kept the STI. That car looks amazing in your photo.

I would of just kept the Sti...It looks very nice and with some mods it can as fast as you want it.

But since you already sold the car I say go for the Evo 9. Never get first year producation cars do bugs and call-backs.

So why did you sell your Sti? It seemed like a nice car to me.

Get the IX while you can. Personally would've kept the sti and waited. Any specific reason of getting rid of it?

If you really like the X then wait... However I would buy a 03-05 VIII as a temporary car, until the X comes out. Then wait until the end of next year to see how they perform, hold-up, etc...

Then you can sell the 8 or trade it in for some year end specials...

By the way the STi looked nice and clean..

If I were you I'd wait for the X. I've been reading up on it and it appears to be a much more refined and better-performing iteration of the Evo. I can't see Mitsubishi screwing up its flagship car. Yes, it's a different platform but I personally like the look a lot. The IX is regarded as a significant improvement over the VIII. So why wouldn't the X be better than the IX?

That Sti is absolutely sick looking, definetly one of the nicest/cleanest looking ones I've seen, I would try and buy it back. Honestly I would buy your Sti instead of the Evo X.
