Painted emblems?

Hey guys just wondering if anyone can tell me how to take off the front mitsubishi emblem so i can paint it black.

i'll save everybody else the trouble, SEARCH or check out the HOW TO section. and also id say youd be better off just buying some overlay colored stickers to change the color of your badges. i've tried the painting and really it came out ****ty.

I've heard different takes on this but the last guy I saw who painted his emblem begged me to cover it up with a vinyl overlay. It looked horrible. Paint was peeling off everywhere. The paint just dosen't stick well to the chrome. If it was primed properly, it might work better.

Still looks good to this day. Just make sure you sand the emblem with some fine sandpaper before painting and paint at least 4 coats on it.

There is one screw on the back of the front emblem that you can get to when you take of a few of the plastic clips near the radiator.

go with sherobi, I bought a set from him and they are great. beats a paint chipped emblem in a few months

sure it looks good but I'm lazy,
IMO 'screw that, get the overlays or go to a vinyl place and pick your color. 5minutes

i think i may do this to my ralliart... what do you guys recommend??

1. Sand real good with fine paper
2. primer
3. black spray paint

probly gonna just tape my car up and do it on that car

will that work?
