fuel pump needed for TBE/FLASH?

Would it be necessary to upgrade the fuel pump if I would go with a Buschure stage 1?

I have run lean with a TBE and flash. Granted it took about 5 or 6 laps before the stock pump couldn't stand up but it did happen. It is just a good idea -- and necessary if you ever mod further

I heard its not needed for a IX as it is for an VIII... thats what I had read several months ago. Kindof like the upgraded BOV on the IX, but what do I know?

Good point -- I should have looked at his name to see the IX
Vishnu doesn't generally replace the IX pump until the injectors are upgraded. I would guess that Buschur would be the same.

No, I don't know anyone else who recommends that. You don't upgrade injectors until way later than the fuel pump, and you do the fuel pump fairly early on. The IXs have a better one from the factory, but it's still not worth the risk.

What made you randomly say for him to get a boost controller? The BR Stg1 comes with an MBC...

Just where I got the information. I guess never "assume". All tuners do things differently.
