What's it called?
The stock ones were superseded to these.
The original stock ones were a push pin design. The screw type are much nicer b/c you never loose that damn pin by pushing it in too hard.. I must have had 3 of them sitting right next to the intercooler, on top of the air damper.

I went into my trunk this past weekend and i couldn't find any of the poppet fasteners. The only ones i could find didn't weren't removeable because the middle peice they put into them doesn't have a head you can unscrew. It's basically in for good. You can't remove them.
i bet if you went to a bodyshop, they'd give you a handfull for a couple bucks.
As for the kind you "can't remove", a flathead and a forktool/crowsfoot/trimtool would take care of that.
and the screw style suck because they don't like to "thread" right, so a screwdriver almost never works.

You can remove them.. They make plastic prybars that can be slipped in-between the head of the pin and the panel. If you pull on the panel they'll come out. however a few of mine broke.
Warr, I have a ziplock bag of the push pin ones in the garage somewhere. When I come across it, I'll keep you in mind. You can have them. If I recall correctly, they were the non-grain, smooth black finish.
