You can get one from your trunk. I also think lancershop sells them.

It's just a reusable clip - not sure of the official name. Get one from your trunk lining.

If you want a new one you can those things at a hardware store cheap. Back in the day when I used to work on systems I used to break and lose those things all the time when working in trunks and you can find a variety of different but similar ones at an auto store or hardware store. I always got them at Lowe's for super cheap.

Yeah, they're stupid expensive. I had to buy a set of 10 from Mitsu after I used up half my trunk clips, and I think it cost $20.

They are called poppet fastners and like turbevo8 said you can get them at just about any hardwear sotre or autoparts store. You can also get them here
http://evomoto.com/index.php?cPath=3...d2d5316c2be26e for $14.95 for a 10 pack.

I get all mine from here.

BTW, I used Part#2125T for the airbox snorkel.

That poppet fastner is not the correct fastner for the snorkel.

Yours aren't the right ones either, but Mitsu doesn't even make or sell the right ones anymore. I personally have never found the exact ones that came stock on my snorkel, so all my replacements ones have a screw like yours and like the ones linked above. I tried for a while to get the correct push-button ones, but Mitsu parts kept saying they no longer have them.

The stock ones were superseded to these.

The original stock ones were a push pin design. The screw type are much nicer b/c you never loose that damn pin by pushing it in too hard.. I must have had 3 of them sitting right next to the intercooler, on top of the air damper.

Much better price from the site you gave me Evo8. But i don't think i need 25 of them. I'll try the hardware store first and see if i can just get one or a smaller pack of 3 or something. I just want something holding it down.. i feel a little uncomfortable with it the way it is now. As if it'll break off on me one day... haha
