350z owner hoping to turn to the darkside
ye learning to launch an AWD is gonna be fun. the rwd Z is fun space. but i dunno, the best way to describe the Z is... You feel like you got a really fat ***. like the car is alot bigger then what it really should be. that's just my opinion. i love the interior feel, but the "fat ***" feel can be fun when throwing it around, but handling whise when ur being serious can get very annoying feeling at times. that's best way i can kind of describe it too.
The funny thing is that if you get a evo the people that "can/could" hang if they raced you will almost NEVER challange you from a dig cause they know they will loose, and those that do want some arent even worth the effort. So when/if you buy one all you will find is people that want to race you from a roll or at high speeds. The second part to that is.... and I am not suggesting you do, but at the same time not going to tell you how to run your life, but IF you race not on a track a evo is very far from a practicle car for light to light stuff as you MUST launch it at over at least 4800-5000 to not bog otherwise you will get beat off the line by a lot of stuff out there and it will take a long time to catch up.
Not going to work lol but its a nice thought.... Its called EVOprofiling and it happens every day. I am going to school to hopefuly go into law enforcement and owning a evo makes that a little harder. I have owned my car for about three months and have been pulled over four times and only one was lagit. Once for speeding(completely my fault) once for my "aftermarket lights" being to bright(stock hids) once for not having my windshield wipers on lmao at that one still cause I use rain x and dont use my wipers on the freeway, and the last one was for changing lanes to close to the car in front of me while I was in traffic going about 2mph.

hahaha oh i hear ya. my black mr2-s i'd get pulled over for some of the dumbest stuff just to harrass me. but i'm very into politics and knowing my rights, more so then most police officers do i think. so i always chuckle when they pull me over for "i saw u speeding on main st." (i wasn't, only a stupid idiot high school ricer woul dbe dumb enough to race there). i have a V1 officer, it did not go off at all and i know i was not speeding. and i have friends that were in a car behind me as witness but if u would love to show my that radar u can write me a ticket."
yea he was flabergasted, he studdered for a good 15 seconds no joke before saying "i'm gonna run ur numbers" and snatched my license.
my buddy just yesterday got a ticket fr "drag racing" when some stupid kid in a civic passed him on a double yellow line. cop said they were racing from a roll...
oh well... if ur gonna become a cop i hope u will be a good one and not one that is a ***** cause hes bored or had a bad day. unless they drive a civic of course
yeah I have heard it all before but in the end the police can and will still make your life hell if they so feel the need so it usually best to just not drive like a dumass if you own a evo and if they do pull you over for some bs thing make sure you act like a mature adult and be VERY polite
