Turbo XS Intercooler

I'm looking to upgrade my intercooler as i'm getting a bigger turbo soon. I'm in the process of ordering rotors, pads, hoses etc and since i don't live in the states i thought i should order it now.

Is the turboXS intercooler the only intercooler that does not require any cutting (says so on lancershop)?

does it fit an EVO IX? on lancershop (link: http://www.lancershop.com/customer/p...&cat=17&page=1) it says for an evo viii, i've emailed them with no reply.

Any other intercooler you suggest that don't require cutting and utilize oem piping? I plan on running a 50trim on this intercooler.

I read good things about the BUSCHUR intercooler. does it require cutting?

Thanks

you need to cut the undertray...otherwise it's a bolton affair.

that's weird because it says on the lancershop website that no cutting is necessary! that's what made it special to me. well that and the price!

sounds kinda shady to me if it says no cutting necessary and i end up having to cut the undertray!

any other intercoolers that dont need cutting?

If you are running a 50 trim why are you worried about OEM piping?

Id suggest getting whatever intercooler is produced by the company your sourcing your turbo kit from.

I have this intercooler and it is great, unbeatable price and the fitment is very good also. I had to trim a little bit, but surely not enough to deter me from buying or recommending this is IC....

I was wondering if there are any soild WHP gains on this FMIC. I am sure that it would cool better then OEM but how is the pressure drop wit this core? Anyone properly test a Turbo XS core?
