Is this really an Evo IX?
Is this really an Evo IX?
I am interested in this car, but I was just wondering if this was actually a IX, because I didn't think they were made until 06.

Also, can anyone identify that exhaust?
Thanks.

i wouldnt buy a used evo from a dealership, specially since the place selling it doesnt even know its a VIII !!.. there is a horror story right now going around evom about a guy who bought an evo from a car dealership that wasnt mitsubishi and they told him it was stock with warrenty, and now he has all these problems cuz it wasnt stock.. n he has to pay for some of them!
althou if u have it checked out n it comes back ok i would say get it..
but 45k miles is alot for an 05! it might be an 04?

i know this may sound unreasonable to a lot of people considering the price of these cars brand new, but I wouldn't get one used... period. From a dealer or otherwise. These cars, in the wrong hands, get very abused. I had to wait 10 years to get mine, but I got her brand new and I treat her right. I can still run hard but with years of driving experience, the car isn't being abused. Again, I know it's a lot to ask since the price will definitely be higher... but in the long run, it's well worth it.
