*Newbie Saying Hi* + Ordered my first round of mods
Greetings all. Recently purchased a Graphite Grey 2006 Evo IX. Only have 200 miles and have already ordered some parts after much lurking on previous threads. Trying to go the stealthy route and looking for low 12.0s at the track eventually, with a suttle daily driver. Items already ordered:
-K&N Panel Filter
-Greddy SP2 Catback
-Autometer Boost Gauge w/ steering column pod
-Perrin Stubbie Antenna
Trying to keep it quiet but pick up gains a little at a time. Having the spoiler removed and holes filled and painted in two-weeks.
Next round:
-Down Pipe
-High Flow Cat
-MBC
Let me know what you think.

And also if you do MBC and tune I highly suggest downpipe and test pipe too. Those mods on a IX will make a night and day difference.

Al said he would do the same as other vendors and "*****" his email flash for $50 just like everyone else.
This is NOT a custom tune its simply a reflash based on a mod's list.
You simply:
- Download your current rom
- Email it to AL or Jestr
- Pay them
- They email with modified rom
- Upload rom to your engines ECU
- Love it

^ That sounds like a plan...have a part number for the cable? Contact number for the tuner/company? If I go to the dealership can I simply uninstall the tune? Revert to stock? Thanks looking for sone specific info so I can knock this out before the track opens March 3.
You will need two things ECUflash which is a free download program

and the tactrix cable
http://www.tactrix.com/product_info.php?products_id=34 (which costs you 89 dollars)
