UPS destroyed my kaminari wing. The guy I bought it from gave it to the UPS store since he didn't have a box for it, and had them pack it. I opened the box to see the wing in three pieces and some fiberglass was damaged, 100 or so $ worth of labor to fix it. So i got it and I was like **** this, and called them. They said they would pick it up and send it back to the seller in Delaware to do a damage report, and I said no way you have to guarantee me that the wing is either given to the seller or me and that I will get the insurance check. They said yeah, that's fine just send it to your local UPS so it can be inspected there. I let my UPS driver pick it up, and the next day I see it is going back to Delaware from the tracking number. I call them, and they said that' standard procedure, and that the guy who guaranteed me it could be inspected in my town didn't know what he was talking about. It gets to Delaware, they make excuses for 2 weeks, and then they finally found it was their fault for not knowing how to pack something. They said the seller was getting the insurance check and they were throwing away the wing. I politely explained what I was promised, and they said the company policy is to throw something away when a refund is given. They also said I didn't get the insurance check since it wasn't insured by me. Luckily the seller sent me my money back, but UPS lied to me over and over and left me with nothing.
Here is my box, with all the packing they put in as well as my wing:
