i usually use mobil1 full synthetic but i bought some penzoil platinum full syn anybody try this oil?

mobil 1 syn 10w-30 (5w-30 if really cold)

OEM oil filter

bought my car... got home, put it on ramps drained oil. New OEM filter and Mobil 1 10w-30... every 2500-3000 OEM filter and Mobil 1. I hear that Royal Purple is pretty good too, if someone else has used that, tell me what you think.

Used to use just Mobil one, store ran out of it and I tried Royal Purple and will never go back, love it

seems like a lot of you are running 5w-30. i am currently running 10w-30 because thats what the manual says.are you just doing that becasue of the cold weather and does it make that much of a difference?

it's a preference thing really imo. although 5w-30 lets the engine rev a little faster then 10w-30 in cold weather.

 

Mobil one 10w30 w/ stock filter every 3k. Same on my 03 8.
