Thanks to all- I have clay barred the s$%^ out of the window, no go. Washed it, etc. No change. Tonight I'll try the 000 steel wool/wax suggestion/s if I get home in time to mess w/ it. Very frustrating tho for a "new" car to have this prob.

Try the vinegar first. Its a non-abrasive method.

Regular dish soap like Palmolive is fine. Doesn't hurt a thing. It will have a greater tendency to remove wax though.

I am a Professional Detailer, Use steel whool, and a razor blade, Make sure too use a window cleaner for lubercation while doing this process! You can also use a clay bar. And after doing the above steps take a wax that has a strong cleaning agent and apply sparingly and whipe it off!

I'd use a clay bar.

There is only 1 way to remove all the spots. Acid Wash your car. Go to Lowes or a detail shop, buy a bottle of acid wash for cars & do it. It takes about 30 minutes, all the waterspots will be gone on your window & paint & carbon. My MR came with so many when I got it new it was incredible. I tried 0000 brillo pads on the windows, clay bars, everything, none of which worked worth a damn. Just make sure to re-wax your car shortly afterwards. It will sparkle so nice. Pm me if you need examples.

i have "soft" water filteration for my home. so when I wash my car, I hook up my hose to the filter. The car dries itself, no water spots.

I wiped in on & took it off within 15 seconds. After the whole car was done the white cloth that I used was still 100% white, not a spec of discoloration. GG MR

Anyone know of a good removal technique for this prob? Tried traditional auto glass cleaners to no avail. Otherwise, lovin it!!!

Try that CLR stuff you see advertised on the TV. If it is only the windows, that is a good bet to work. But apply it with cloth so as to keep it off the painted surfaces.
