Yes, you leave the line with 8-10 psi of boost. Makes for a quick "getaway".

I have an 03 so i dont have that launch control but is still try to leave it around 6k... Although I say, take the evo to road coarse so then you dont need to worry about launchin... I have just seen soooo many bad outcomes where people "launched" incorrectly and lose their car for awhile....

I am not too sure but i think that I heard the transmissions in newer models are alot stronger than my 03??? Let me know if anyone has heard or knows the answer.. THanks

I am very suprised that no one has clowned your HKS BOV.... Sell that pos and get something that helps performance rather then hurts it. If you like the Woosh, then just buy an intake... As far as launching it goes make sure you put a few bucks away for a new clutch cause your warrenty wont cover it, and when you take it to the track make sure to report back

I was getting ready to say the same thing!

You need to get rid of that HKS BOV and put the best BOV for you car(your stocker) back on! Immediatley!

use factory launch limiter slipping just a touch and your off, practice makes perfect but practice sometimes makes a new clutch purchase too

its funny that most of ya'll have different two steps set.

I had mine at 5k and hated it. It would only boost 5psi or so.

I had mine at 6K it boosted 8-10psi.

I'm changing mine back to 6k

How many of you all use 6k and have stock clutch and restrictor pill

launching with and without the restrictor pill is totally different imo
