5500 rpm. "slip the clutch", NEVER drop it, if you dump the clutch, you better get the checkbook ready. Gets costly. Don't you have a built in 2 step?

i think you have built in launch control. just push down your clutch and have the stick in 1st gear and floor it. see where it is at. dont go past 7k though. that means you need a reflash

you have to launch awd cars differently. you dont just dump the clutch. you have to kind of slip it or feather it. i dont really know how to explain it in words very well. im a bit out of it right now...

i say just practice it and figure it out. you'll get it after a while. just burn that stock clutch cuz its no good any way then get a new aftermarket one

the awd world doesnt really know what a burnout is. launch no higher than 5500 because thats where the stock revlimiter is for launch control, if the clutch is fully engaged. you wont ever do a burn out in an evo. with mods and a good launch you will have minimal tire spin.

6500 rpm, and just let it out evenly but kinda quick....my times below are a direct result of that method.....

if your not spinnin the tires then your not launching to full potential. I pull 1.6's all day with a good amount of tire spin
