are there any companies that have cams with a part number a04?? i bought a used evo and i swear it lopes like it has 272s i looked through the oil cap and saw a04 engraved.....

what if the cams didn't have the part# engraved on it, what other ways can you tell which cam it is and lift?? i'm asking because the only thing engraved on mines is the 1 & 2 and thats it.

 

Where are you looking?

Some numbers are engraved underneath the cam gears. If you never took the gears off it would be impossible to see. Also some cams have a color code of some kind

 

the cams are off and i'm lookin at them. no numbers engraved? it look like the gsc cams for the ix, the black and silver polish. the guy that sold them to me said they are for the viii, but isn't gsc cams for the viii is all black??? i'll try to get some pics in today.

 

there a pinkish, reddish dot on one end where the nipple is. the guy also said its the gsc264/272 combo. again how do i knoe by looking at them??? if you go to lancershop or evomoto, all the gsc viii cams are black and the ix are black with silver polish.
