Jeeze, older guys just mad the young bucks can make a dollar? My clock is about to go past 21, but I bought the car when i was 19 living away from home with a crazy insurance tag might I add. yes I bought the car, and I pay for every expense it brings, I also don't live at home. give it up you dont have to be 30 to have a 30k car, that formula doesnt work geezers

What do you expect bro, EvolutionM.net bias will not play a factor here
Btw nice teg, always wanted a gsr as a beater

Hey I'm 18 and I have had my evo since I was 17.. I pay for it all, but still live at home with my parents because the drive to school is only 15 minutes. When it comes down to it.. it all depends on how much you really want the car.. I have been making good money since I was 16 so I decided that I could afford the car payment and insurance. I don't have any problem with the evo on college campus either.

Do what you want to do.. but for you.. it sounds like the G35 would be the better bet since you are not that concerned with the "race" factor of the car. I have been a car addict since I was young and I wanted to conquer my dream of getting a really nice turbo charged car at a young age.

Just what I think man. Let us know what you do!

I'm wondering if you even have an Evo? You always have something to say and it's never anything worth typing.....you're a joke.

most of the older guys are not jealous. if you earnt the money, more power to you. in this case the car is a gift. more so than that, the evo and cars of this ilk need to be learnt and driven properly, something you may do, but alot of younger drivers just dont have enough real experience.

seems like a hard decision... from what your looking for i would say the G35 but me also being 19 i wouldn't want any other car... you really can't ask for better all around performance and looks... the evo is beyond sexy and when i see all the 350z's and G35's at my school, i know i made the right decision when they all turn their heads.... plus you can't beat AWD handling! but in the end the evo is not a luxury car and meant for those that need that adrenaline flowing their veins around each corner...

I need to pipe in on this one. I own an '03 EVO8 and an '03 G35 coupe. The Evo is heavily modded, it is stupid fast and alot of fun to drive. I have to be exteremly careful on the roads with it cuz its such a rush you just want to go. I drive it to meets, shows and the drag strip. I only have about 6000 miles on it. I'd never let it go. It is pure performance and power.
The G35 is a combination of style, some power ( not like the EVO ) but enough to give you a little rush, and elegance. I love the lines on the G and I like all the features, nav, heated seats, seperate heat/ac for each front seat area ( my wife is always cold and I'm always hot).
In summing it up. I love both of these cars and after having them, I would not ever be without either of them. If I had a gun to my head and had to make a choice.........I'd take the G35. Only because I'm 45 years old and I get alot more use out of it. The EVO is awesome, but it tempts me to do things on the road that I really shouldn't. Thats why I dont drive it much.
In closing my advice to you would be, keep the integra for fun, get the G35, graduate from college, impress your interviewer for a good job ( with the G35 as a help ) then trade in the integra for an EVO

I'm 21 and drive a lancer so I can't exactly comment on the cars but I would suggest keeping the integra or maybe upgrading to something like a civic si, mazdaspeed3, new ralliart, etc..
College/university isn't cheap. Even if you don't pay for tuition, books and social activities drain away money faster than you think. There's also things like insurance, modification costs, gas and maintenance costs as well as the risk of something just going wrong (especially if you modify the car). Here's the real question you have to ask yourself, would you rather be 19 with an evo that mommy and daddy bought (let's face it, once this comes up people will laugh and make fun of you) or would you rather be 19 with an integra that you can mod to hell, and still have money left over for a social life?

People don't get mad because you're young and buy an Evo. It's the attitude you bring. People need to grow up and learn some responsibility. When I took Drivers Ed way the hell back, we spent a whole week talking about taking responsibility.

but anyways the evo is way better
obviously the Evo is better, but look at his first post. Majority of people on here will say Evo>G35, but he doesnt really care for the real, hardcore performance side aspect so why tell him to get an Evo? The G suites him better because he would rather have a more luxurious car than the Evo (which there are tons compared to it). He may enjoy it and eventually get into performance if he gets it and appreciates it, but the G might just blow his mind and he would rather have that.

OP, trust me, get the G35 and you will be more than happy. They sound good, look good, and they are pretty luxurious compared to the Evo. Drop some 19s and/or 20s, lower it, tint it, and you'll be doin good.

sounds like you want more luxury, most likely you'll hate the evo ride and probably get tired of driving stick, actually i would recommend the iS 350 with paddle shifters and all those cool accesory like heated/vented seats radar cruise control, nav... etc.
