Should I Get an Evo IX or Infinity G35 Coupe??
question..and i dont mean to sound like a butthead lol but whats so wrong about a 19 yr old kid owning a $30,000 car? to me, it kinda looks like jelousy....If someone can afford something for themselves or even their kids why is it wrong for them to have it? i dono, comments like that tend to hit me the wrong way, almost seems wrong to have money now a days. Life's too short.
im 20...and i bought my IX when i was 18, im making the payments, $1000 a month...although, i have to admitt that it would be hard to keep up with the bills especially while youre in college.

Wow man I am 18 years old, I have an 2003 evo, I pay the car payment, insurance, gas, maitenance, and all of the performance parts on it right now. You should earn your money and buy it yourself and have some pride in yourself, Are your parents going to pay for everything for the rest of your life? And I also worked on g35's 350z's for almost a year, and my father had one, and you will not make any power on it unless you tt it or supercharge it. www.govrt.com Get the G35 if you want to be pointed out as the rich kid on campus with the car mommy and daddy bought them.
Just on a side note I think that it is a little funny that you 30+ year olds even care what this guy drives. Ooohhh, I am so proud that you are able to afford a $30,000 car when you are 30 years old. Shoot man, I'd be disappointed in myself if I was your guys' age and not rocking a Porsche 911 Turbo, Viper, or a Z06 (with a paid off mortgage to boot!)
Much love otherwise.

Very true UT Evo! All I can say is that I am 21, almost 22. I am about to graduate this May with my degree and I have owned over 25 cars -6 2g turbo dsm's, 2 Evos, an Integra... the list goes on. I have paid for everything I have owned with cash (I've never had a car loan in my life- it's called hard work, patience, and a job in sales), though and I don't have any jealousy for those that have things paid for them. I've paid for all my school, rent, etc too. If all goes as planned I will be paying for sick rides for my own kids someday though.
Well I have driven a 500 whp turbo G35 and 300 whp Evo and I have to say although the G35 is more of a status riser (if you can call it that) where its luxury with all the goodies I HATED driving it it was sloppy and I cant see it as a DD I rather drive the EVO over the G35 anyday... now the power was something else.. I hit boost in the G35 in 3rd and shifted right to 5th because I started sliding out lol but then again the G had a lot more work than my evo.. Test drive them both and see which one you can live with..
P.S: If you choose the evo remember this phrase "You have to pay to play" cause itll kick in you the face a couple of times..
