in general, yes. but not all 19 year olds are the same. spending alot of time to learn different cars in varying degrees of performance would be a of benefit.

honestly, you can do whatever you'd like. but, as a new driver i think the evo may be a little too much. it's got A LOT more power then prob. any other cars you've driven. and 5/6speed with 4wd takes some time to get used to. you will prob. burn up the clutch before 3k. just my .02. G/L

If we say we don't want to go fast in an evo then we are lying but generally it's more of a enthusiast thing for me not so much for going fast.

I think the evo would be too much of a car for a 19 y/o.

Especially for a relatively new driver. I mean, if you're responsible fair enough, but just don't go all out crazy esp for a new driver. If you unleash the power of the evo, you just may end up in a tree if your a new driver.

Yes. Not because of your age, but lack of driving experience. Get some years under your belt in something a little more forgiving.

Your 19 an a new driver? thats odd, anyway, i got a brand new 2003 evo 8 when i was 16 and now i got an evo 9 mr but i was born into a racing family, i would suggest maybe getting a 99 mitsubishi gsx , mod it a bit, tighten the suspension give it a bit of power and learn the 4g63 motor, and cars in gerneral, than once youve got some driving under your belt get an evo. But if you want an evo now, i would highly suggest leave it stock for a long time, do not do a single mod, learn how to drive this kind of car! good luck

Understood. And 3 years is relatively little experience in the grand scheme of things.

Why is that odd? Legal age to learn driving over at my country is 18.
Cool advice. Will keep it stock for a long time if i get it.
