This thread is so stupid.

Honestly, I can't believe anyone has actually put effort into their responses.

If this kid is really rich enough to buy an Aston Martin why the hell wouldn't he buy one? You really think he cares about what a bunch of Evo owners have to say?

Poster: If you're stupid enough to pass up the opportunity to own a supercar, then I truly pity you.

If you can afford one, why the hell not!?

I'd sell the evo and get a db9 for sure. I was on my way to the restaurant the other day and saw one making a right at the intersection....that car is a work of art.

An Evo has nowhere close the performance potential of a Ferrari, Aston or high end Porsche. There is quite a bit more regarding performance rather than wheel horsepower.

If you can't even realize that, you aren't ready for a supercar.

Serious note though, if you have the means and don't buy a TVR Sagaris, you are a *******ed fool.

1madevo could be a NBA basketball player, or Bubba Stewart or Michelle Wie; lots of 19 year olds make a lot of money that we only wish we can. I guess what I am saying is his money is his business.

With that said, I am over 40 and had three Porsches, ridden in F355 and F360's and a new orange Gallardo, and many corvettes. No Aston though. I think my evo is better than any run in a mill porsche 911. F430 will be the coolest in my opinion. Driving a Gallardo is like playing a video game - way more fun than EVO. If you are not James Bond, leave the Aston along for the old guys. F430 will be my vote though, or just keep the Evo and invest your money.

P.S. Look in to an Ariel Atom. You will forget about any other car. Do a search in youtube.com and search on "top gear atom". Greatest car ever built.

I think TVR is now bankrupt, and sold to the owners of Evolution Imports.

I am sick of people bad mouthing young people just because they are young. Some people are brillant businessmen. I go to school with a kid that makes 100,000+ off of torrent sites he hosts, getting money from advertisers. He may have seen an extremly good oppertunity and taken full advantage of it.

Anyway, I would stay with the evo. It is sexy, powerful, and AWD. You can take it to any track and have fun without worring about paying out of your *** to have body repair due to rock chips. Plus I am EVO and heart and I am bias a little.

whether this story is factual or not, everyone seems to be missing the point that he is "considering" a super car but has reservations about price, image, performance etc.

so its not simply just a case of blow x amount of dollars on a supercar. the question is whether all that comes with this type of car is worth it?

ok first off. an evo with under 30k in it can hang right with in every aspect any ferarri. an evo with 50k in it can hang with nearly any car... and your still far under 100k. so stop hating on the evo... its a go-cart with practically unlimited potential. **** if i had all the money in the world i wouldnt buy a mclauren f1 or an aston. i can honestly say i would buy the evo wrc car, or have norris designs build me a 2dr. i LOVE the looks and the go-cart handling. + the 4 doors is something i wouldnt trade for ANYTHING. i LOVE being able to take girlS out instead of just girl. dude if you get rid of the evo you will miss it. upgrade the **** out of it and post pictures. + you think you get bad tickets now? ROFL get an aston
