Future mods, possible to hit mid 11's?

Up to date i have my 06 IX. anyway i ran with a simple replacement filter and mbc set to 20 psi and managed to run a 12.8.
my question is im not sure whether i can hit a comfortable 11. i currently have a invidia o2, full tanabe exhaust, gsc s1 cams, arp bolts, ams fmic and licp. i need to get it tuned although im curious if anyones been able to hit a comfortable 11's on 91 octane daily driven. i've searched but it seems like everyone mentions how their running 100 octane so im hoping to find a few people that can help me determine whether i should go for a turbo upgrade

To answer your question, you're looking at low 12's high 11's the way you sit. Add methanol injection and more boost and you'll get to where you want to be.

With C16 tune, those mods and a stock turbo mid 11's are going to be hard to attain unless you are a really good driver.

You can be like TTP's car and run 10.92 on the stock 16g turbo. Meth FTW!

So in theory im going to need a different turbo. I wouldnt mind using meth injection although id like to put that power down without having to constantly refill the bottle. what turbo kit would be nice for all around power?

not a wise choice unless you have a lot of cash for supporting mods- add cams+ have your IX turbo converted to a FP green + run meth, otherwise be prepared for everything that could happen with running a big turbo setup on stock bottom end and tranny

I went 12.1@114mph in my IX with a drop in filter, mbc, tbe, flash and 91 octane. I'm adding a 02, licp and the S1 cams and would think my car would have a good chance of running high to mid 11's on 91 octane.

I think you should run your car 1st and see what happens. You should have an 11 second ride right after you get tuned.

With your mods you should have no problem hitting 11s if you didn't live in southern california. You will most likely be hitting up Cal Speedway and that is a tricky drag strip in my opinion, if you hit 11s there on pump gas then I'd be really impressed. But you should be able to hit low 12s, which is pretty damn impressive for Cal Speedway.

11's is attainable with your setup,Brian hit 11.49 wit same setup, race fuel and he can drive like crazy. With an good driving(Not Brian or Curt Brown type),you can hit 11.8(1.6 60' and shift in 0.15's).
