Torque spec on valve cover bolts

Does anybody know what the torque spec on the six bolts on the valve cover..
was doing my usuall inspection of the car and noticed these bolts were really loose!!! i dont want to overtighten them either...

3.5 Nm +/- .5 Nm, which is about 31 In-Lbs

They are supposed to be "loose" they are valve cover bolts and only supposed to hold the gasket properly sealed to the head. Notice how the poster above said IN-pounds (INCH).

Do not make the same mistake I did on the miata and tourqe them in feet. INCH pounds is very little. i would say just a little tighter then hand tight. Also valve covers usually have certain tightening orders.

finger tight. about 2-3lbs/ft Tq
