Torque Specs for Head
Long story short, timing belt broke, have replaced everything. Got the car all back together torqued everything per specs, head leaks oil down the back of the engine. Can some please verify that I have the correct specs.
1. 54lb torque in the correct sequence
2. Losten all bolts back up
3. Tighten to 15# in sequence
4. Mark bolts with paint
5. Turn all bolts 90 degrees in sequence
6. Turn all botls another 90 degrees in sequence so marks line up.
This is what I got from the manual. This is an 2002 Lancer OZ Rally. Like I said above, the timing belt broke and I replaced the whole top end. Cars runs great just leaking some oil down the back. Not coming from the valve cover. I will check tonight to see if there is any compression issues.
