Do stock evos cost more
i would try to buy a lightly modified evo, preferably only owned by 1 person,
you can save several thousand on parts and installation,
and as long as the car still has the drivetrain and bumper to bumper warranty, you should be allset

Stock cars are generally much easier to sell and usually fetch higher prices than cars with light to medium mods. Extremely heavy mods puts the car in a different market entirely where the car will sell for more than a stock Evo, but will lose at least 50% of the value of the mods in the sale.
Interesting.
Mines going to be for sale in the next few months and I was wondering the same thing.
Only "mod" was removal of the wing and a repaint of the trunk by the dealer's favorite shop. The paint is actually better on the trunk lid than the rest of the car!
Do you guys think that the wingless look will change the value either way?

It depends on what you are looking for I think. I bought my car with some light mods like intake and exhaust stuff and they were mods that I would have done anyway so I saved all the time and money and got everything I already wanted done right when I got it. No regrets here.
