Evo clutch same as Eclipse???

somebody told me that Evo8-9 clutch is the same with eclipse...is this true?

no they are not! i just checked in the parts department, i work at a mitsu dealership. they all have different part numbers.

Yeh

The fact that Shltty Puts the same clutch in a 287hp car as they put in there low end 150hp (If its EVEN 150hp) Car, is stupid as hell. No wonder everyone trys to get them warrentied.. Cuz they cant handle shlt.

Same with the dash n interrior =(

They wouldnt have the same party number because they are different cars, they would change the part number for that reason exactly.

Its been proven n shown that a stock evo clutch n lancer clutch are the same (with pictures of them back to back). Not sure if the whole clutch assembly is the same, but from what i understand the disk n flywheel are.

thats one thing I dont get about evo's, they spent all this time to develop them but yet they dont put a clutch in the car thats meant for the power!

no they wouldnt change the part numbers!! that would complicate things, i just asked the parts manager here. if you dont belive go ahead ad give a call 6195882922 ask for joe the parts manager or you can speak to ramiro or david. but they are totally different parts.

that is where you are wrong! if it is the same part number then it is the same piece of clutch, whether they are used in different models, it will still show the same part number.

that is like spreading false information

Gotcha, Im going to call up the parts manager at my mitsubishi to confirm they are the same clutch

the lancer drivers side window shows to be a different part number than the evo drivers side window. however, they are both the exact same.
