I bought a used Evo VIII with some upgrades and want ideas of what to do next... I know shes already got a Hallman MBC, Injen IC pipes, Apexi boost gauge, big brake kit and a reflash. I plan on ordering an Espelir JGT-500R exhaust, and Injen CAI. What else would be a good idea before another reflash? Im aiming to get her to around 350 whp

Reflase means reprogramming the cars computer to NEW timing curves. This in turn makes more power or if you really wanted to you could Detune it to make less.


10.5 hotside is the turbine, or exhaust side of a turbo. This LARGER hotside allows more exhaust flow which means more power.

20g, name of a Mitsubishi turbo which is SUBSTANTIALLY larger than the evo 8's stock 16g.

Meth, otherwise known as Methanol is used to in conjunction with high boost to cool intake charge and provides excellent detonation inhibiting properties. This allows your tuner to add more timing and fuel meaning more power.

 

Go with cams 264 or 272, walbro fuel pump, reflash, and meth
