hi i posted a while a go about buying a evo unfortunately someone else beat me to it. so ive spent a couple weeks looking for a nice potential buy. With luck i found a 03 ww evo. it has 35 k miles on it. has rs-r springs as ive beent told, new deck looks clean from pix. i have yet to look at it in person its somewhat of a comute around 40 min from my area! so if anyone can do a carfax for me it would greatly help out as to saving me comute if there's a sign of danger

yes i was planning to check it out this friday if nothing bad comes up.
well got to wait for a carfax first it helps to be prepared to battle the evil dealers.
i cant wait to drive it home they're askin 21,900 for it so i think its a good deal.
it just seems hard to find a great deal i hear people getting 19k for low mileage EVo's i guess i just have to be patient

hi i just looked at the car in person it runs great looks clean well maintained but it has some mods on it it has a exhaust system which the dealer will replace to stock for it smog, a boost cotroller, rsr springs, cf dash overlays, and a air fuel gauge which i have no idea what it is. any comments a good buy or not i also got
the vin ja3au86f83u107784 clutch seems perfect pretty new tires around 80% plenty of thread left. is it risky to get a modded car like this or is it fine.

ideally on a car like the Evo, you want to know the owner...some people can get the car brand new, beat on it and then sell it to a dealer with low miles, so people assume it's still like a new car...it's always risky, unless you buy it when it's brand new...but hey man, go for it, it's all how you feel about it, thsoe mods dont seem to be too much to the engine and power plant, so my guess is that it should be fine. Just me 2 cents, GL man!

 

The VIN is still not good. Carfax substituted H for the 5th letter and found this:

They are exactly right that it is how you feel about it that is second to none when purchasing a car. A good tip with evo's, however, are the noises. While the noises don't mean much, a low mileage car with a ton of small noises might have been beaten.
