While i was researching on engine management systems a friend of mine who wrenches on cars and tunes on aem ems / hks / motec was sayin that he prefers the vpro. But that's if you have the cash to get one along w/ the $$$ for tuning.

you should call vendors / manufacters and see what they would say about the differences.

Personally I decided on holding off till i have over 500whp to get an ems. The stock ecu can handle the power under it. One thing that i am looking into is the MafT Pro. Check it out! It's like the old hks vpc, allowing you to run speed density or a gm 3" maf.
