help guys/gals

this is the deal im trying to get a used 03 with 12,144 miles on it for 25,460 but then my parents keep telling to get a new one the price difference isn't such a big deal mind you there not paying for anything just co-signing but i need some feed back which is greatly appreciated on wheather dats a good price and just stick wit the 03 rather then a new one

I just bought a 2006 evo IX w/ 20k miles on it for 24,ooo.

I suggest you keep searching and you'll get better prices.

OH, i see you're in NYC, there's an 05 in Queens... in the jamaica area..

I would definitely recommend buying a new one for a few thousand more. Even though the mileage on the 03 you are looking at is modest, it's already 4 years old. Plus, the IXs are faster right out of the box. The only way I'd think about getting the 03 in your situation is if I'd save $8-10K over a IX, and even then only if the 03 is in excellent condition.

i'd definitely go with an 05+ for that amount of money. there are plenty of used ones around $25K and you may be able to find a new IX for not much more. remember 05+ have LSD, ACD, 10.5 exhaust housing, and the IX adds mivec and a bigger compressor to the mix with arguably better looks than the VIII.

go for new. its only a couple moe thousand.compare the loan rates and how much more it will atually be a month, u might be suprised how little the difference is.
