Was wondering what performance mods i could make to my car, the only mods i have are a pod and exhaust system, i own a 1997 CE Lancer with a 4G15 engine, was thinking of adding a new engine, is there any that someone could recommend? Also would a front and rear strut or sway bar be useful for my car? OR should you only use on engine with more power. Would extractors do much for my cars preformance?

 

throw a 4g63 in it. it would be a nice sleeper

 

Aren't they a tubo engine? don't you need AWD? mine is only FWD, besides would it fit into my lancer? i think it is R/H Mounted, i was thinking of maybe adding a
6A12 Mivec, again i dont know much at all about lancers.

 

hrmm a lancer? are they non turbo? haha i never was interested in juts the lancer i needed the evo haha

 

i want the evo but not for a while just working on the current right now.

 

save your money and buy an evo

 

Not much you can do for big power unless you want to spend big bucks. But just like any non-turbo motor you could add an aftermarket exhaust manifold, intake, cams(if they make them). A little port and polish on the head would help. Nitrous is a possiblity but be careful with it.

was just looking on the RPW site and they recommend getting a 55mm throttle body and some extractors, will this give me much performance?
