Just wanted to know if a 4G93 engine would fit into my CE? Also how do you tell if your car is l/h or r/h mounted? dumb question but i dont know anything about these kind of motors.

If it was produced in '96 and you drive a '97 Lancer then....I would say its safe to assume it would fit since the Lancer is listed on that wiki page for cars that house that motor. Motors of the same series usually remain unchanged from where they bolt onto the chassis.
I could be wrong though.

you're talking about the 1.8 in the mirage right? What motor do you have? Checked into just putting a newer 4g94 into it?

 

will think about it and have a look now for one. Will the 4G94 fit into my car?
