anyone feel the car struggles to get to high speeds?
Ive had my evo for about 6k miles now. I feel like the car has to battle to go above 100 mph. It gets to 100 very quickly but 100-125 is very slow. I am in 5th with the gas to the floor and it crawls upto 125. Any ideas?

+1 on dealer for warrent, while its still good call them and have them check it out, cuz mine while it was stock got to 130MPH no problem, never found a good strech of road for 130+mph. but take to dealer, and then after that take it to the Dyno.

ok heres what you do next time.....
Go to a private track or road..get up to about 60, put it in fourth to build up torque, not fifth. STOMP on it, ALL the way to redline in 4th, then shift to 5th.
i really dont think you are getting anywhere near redline, it maybe my cams but i get a LOT of middle to upper RPM response, and if you start at 60mph in 4th and lay on it WOT, that should be the ultimate test. Just dont be scared to get it into the red, theres a revlimiter!

for a stock evo, does anyone know the top speed? Maybe its because the RS4 halls to 150 no problem and the evo is struggling stock. After the dealer checks it out this week, its off to turbotrix hopefully to redo the car

What is the rev limit. Ive pushed it a hair past 7000 and havent hit the redline.
7676 is the stock rev limit I think but seriously your RS4 has 130 more HP, a better powerband since it can rev to 8k plus and probably different gearing. My Evo put down 333/341 and I hit 150 on accident trying to catch up to a car. 4th and 5th now pull like 3rd used to. I highly advise you to start modding before you even attempt going 125+
Rev limiter I am pretty sure is around 7400-7500RPM. I bet you take it to the dealer and they say nothings wrong with it, and it is hard to explain how you know it has difficulty going over 100MPH.
