HKS RS kit broken housing

I've used HKS RS kit for about a year.

Actually I broke the plastic housing a little bit by tightening the clamp too much while I was installing it.

So the airflow might be leaking though the broken area.

Does it affect the performance of the car? Better to replace the plastic housing as well?

If so, can I just get the housing only without having to buy the whole kit again?

duct tape

Mine suffered the same damage. the plastic housing/cage is weak.

I'm guessing a simple duct taping would do the trick to seal the affected area?
