Manual Boost Controller Help

As the title states, I am having difficulties with my Hallman manual boost controller. This is how it's set up:

Wastegate actuator is going to the inlet on boost controller
Compressor housing nipple is going to the outlet on boost controller
Both lines removed and taken care of on stock boost control solenoid.
The nipple on the stock intake is capped.

Now the thing is no matter what I do, whether the boost is all the way down, I gave it 1 crank, or 2, the boost remains at 11 psi, and nothing more. I don't know if maybe I should try T'ing into the BOV vacuum line, or if there is something that I have missed. Any of you who have encountered a problem like this, I'd appreciate you to chime in as this is very frustrating. Thank you in advance for your help.

For those who have asinine comments, please refrain from posting in my thread.

Maybe I said it wrong, but I didn't want to sound obnoxious saying, "Wastegate to the side port etc.." However, the wastgate actuator is going to the side port on the manual boost controller, and the compressor housing is going to the straight port. That is indeed how I have it set up and it's boosting only 11 psi.

Keep clicking. There is some free play in the spring (spring is too short). The boost will start to increase after a few clicks.

Alright I'll give that a try.

No I haven't tried changing the spring yet. I have the "Heavy Duty" spring still in the box, I guess I'll swap it out and see what happens.

I'll keep you all posted, and thank you all for your help so far.

It sounds like you may have the tubes reversed...the nipple that has the bleed hole should be going to the WG actuator...simple fix...

WGA -> "Side Port" on MBC
Compressor housing -> "Straight port" on MBC

I believe it's hooked up right, it seems as if some people have had to put the heavy duty spring to get something out of it.

Here's an update on how things have gone since I haven't been able to devote alot of time to the Evo, this Sunday I was able to.

I eventually gave it a good amout of turns with the "weak" spring and I finally got it to start moving up to around 18 psi. I figured then that I should swap in the "Heavy Duty" spring since a few people suggested that. I did that, put the spring in, put the small while ball in, reassembled the boost controller, and once again, I can not pass 11 psi. Mind you I haven't turned it too many times, but I imagine enough to make a difference. I don't understand what the problem could be, the MBC is brand new, any help would be appreciated.
