Is it possible to save on gas by retuning ecu?

Is it possible and will it be wise to retune a stock 9 via tuning (ex. tactrix cable)?
or is that a lil too overkill because it wouldn't help with mpg as much and possible voiding of warranty?

also would doing that (to a stock 9) increase hp or tq by much?

I dunno... I know Evo's run rich from the factory... also, you might want to change your car name on the left. I pretty sure you don't have a special edition Evo 4

^^^Tune it, you'llmost likely do it sooner or later anyways. Why not now and save money on gas. Just my opinion now.

Try a search this has been covered. Seems like a waste to me but its your car. The best way to save gas is to stay out of the boost.

thanks for letting me know... i sure will change my name...

I guess my main question would be if the dealer would know that i tuned it... even after putting the stock map back on... not really into voiding my warranty
