Hallman MBC
I just purchased a Hallman boost controller and its the one made for the Evolution that mounts in cabin. I heard today that this certain controller suffers from massive boost creep. However, I done the research and most people are happy with them I have read they hold boost well. Now dont get me wrong not every MBC is perfect, obvious but can someone confirm this before I get it installed.
All manual boost controllers will in some form or shape suffer from a small spike, or a small taper. Just the nature of the beast. If you want to completly eliminate those two factors, I would suggest investing in an electronic boost controller. Although, they are more expensive, they definetly provide a more acurate way of controlling boost levels. The REAL advantage of manual BC comes from its price. The HALLMAN BC is one of the best if not the best manual controller out there. Give it a shot. If you see something you dont like, then replace it with a Electronic one like the Greddy Proffec B-Spec II

the MBC is tight....good choice...i just recently put mine on and i almost didnt even know what i was doing but did some research and then i founded on how to install it and took bout 30 mins at most since its hard as hell to take the hoses off the wastegate and turbo....but again its nice...holds boost really good
I have the same mbc...just not the in-cabin design. I love it. Another advantage to the mbc over the ebc is if the ebc solenoid fails, you could get a huge boost spike until you notice it. I had a profec B on my old srt4 and was told that if the solenoid failed, it would most likely damage my engine. Just an FYI.

Hallman MBC is one of the most accurate boost controllers on the market. It is very consistant when it comes to turning up the boost and turning down the boost. Everyone that I have dealt with have been with in a turn or two of each other. If it is open all the way it takes about 4.5 turns to get about 22psi. Thats nice engineering and consistant to me.
