Evo 8 turbo to Evo 9 turbo

With this conversion what should I expect in terms of driving if I could say that. Like the feel or power from the 8 to the 9

If you go from an '03 turbo with the 9.8 hotside to the IX turbo there should be slightly slower spoolup. The midrange and topend with the IX turbo should be a noticeable improvement however.

stock 03 turbo's top end FTL! I hate it! I read up some more on the 9 turbo conversion... I'd say it's well worth it if you want to stay relatively stock but have a car that you can tool around with at the track without looking foolish (stock 03 turbo lol) or a car that maybe you'll want to give a little gas hear and there I don't let my car go past 4000 rpm.. it's too dissapointing lol

the turbo itself may be the same but I don't think the entire set up is... basically getting rid of the hotside and a few more compnents would do the 03's well, but I do think there are other differences...

I believe the set up from 03-04 and 05 changed.. also the MR has a different set up too compared to the regular evo 8's.

the 9 turbo's complete set-up is what I would be taking

The compressor housing is larger!! The hotside is identical. The j-tube is different along with the oil/coolant lines are slightly different.

My 9 turbo just came in today!!
