Wattup yall.... I'm getting an 2002/2003 Lancer OZ Rally really soon and I need some help on buying some parts and would really appreciate some dope feedback.

Im looking to get an auto transmission, because I'm more into the looks of the car, rather than the racing and speeding of it. First thing I want to do as soon as I get my car is throw on some phat rims, and a nice looking body kit. I also want to get a fat looking exhaust in the back just for the looks. After I do everything and make it look pretty clean on the exterior, I need some help on getting the car sounding clean, as in a loud exhaust and all that $hit. I was wondering if some of you guys can give me some feedback on what to get to make my car sound like it's quick(I don't know anything about engine, muffler,etc. all these parts), even though it ain't I live in southern california, so If you guys know any good shops down here just hit me up with the info. Well, First things first, any exhaust you buy purely for sound its going to likely be terrible. In fact, a badly engineered exhaust like the generic ones you buy TO make your car sound fast is probably going to slow you down due to a loss in backpressure.

As far as a kit goes, Shark racing, and accolade () carry the most kits for the car.

To be quite honest, if you make your car fast, it will sound fast. And only cost a slight bit more. An intake makes a car sound so much more powerfull than a crappy exhaust, and it actually WILL improve your car's performance. You can put one in an auto tranny car, but you'll be limited in your choices.

Do what you will, but keep in mind, if you look fast, try to race someone, and you get killed badly, you'll be laughed at no matter how much vinyl tape decals and chrome you have on your ride.

 

HAHA yea I know if I would race I would get lauged at, but I'm not going to race at all, because that car stock is an embarrassment. All I really want is a nice exterior, I don't wont it to be fast. I just want the sound and exterior to look clean. By way, where can I pick up a accolade or shark racing kit around here? Besides getting it shipped out all the way across the world...
