Why is one too many? Just because we are young doesn't mean we don't treasure what we have. If I had an Evo I am sure I would take better care of it and drive more responsibly than some 30 year olds.

Oh yeah, and what if they put forth a lot of hard work and gave up time to party and have fun with the kids just to own an Evo? Is that not respectable, or is it just because they are in high school it doesn't matter how much they give up or how hard they work to get a vehicle they love?

lol one correction to this thread...how many highschoolers financed there evo themselves and make there payments with there own money...that means no co signers no allowances....all money you earned yourself... if there is i would be really suprised

Theres nothing wrong with kids having evo's in high school....the people that think that its stupid for a kid to have one in high school are usually just jealous because their parent wouldnt get them one.

Very well said. I know plenty of mature adult Evo owners who drive much more irresponsibly than I do; on top of that, I haven't met one who take as much care of their car as I do, visually and mechanically. I don't need to prove myself to anyone, maybe it's because I'm pretty mature for my age, but this car is my pride and joy and nothing I do will ever raise your insurance rates, trust me.

hmmm 20,000 to 30,000 dollars is alot to save....i go overseas for 6 months tax free and make 40,000 a year...i can only manage to save around 10,000 in that six months...i dont see how any kid in highschool is making 40.000 a year...and that isnt even enough money for me to survive in san diego

Before you say something. Maybe you should meet my parents. I know i didnt pay for my own damn Evo.( I never said I paid for my Evo w/ out help) . My parents gave me $25grand for it. My parents paid. OK. and no we dont sell drugs. My dad owns his own business of Sheet Metal Roofing and my mom owns her business also. (a house cleaning business) . So there you go, know you know were our funds come from. This isnt my first car , my first car was a 1992 Toyota Celica GT AllTrac. When i was 15.
