Tried to buy a IX today, no luck
I'm trying to find one, too. But since I live in California, it isn't as hard as you have it. It's matter of finding a car with color and options I want. The most difficult part was convincing my wife. I always had rear wheel drive cars, and I am pretty exciterd about Evo! Well, if I can find the right one that is..
If your willing to travel or pay to have a car shipped then call Evan at Anaheim Mitsubishi. they have a few left. I just purchased a GG SE from them with 6 miles for only 28,800.00. Great deals and I think they may have 2 or 3 GG SE's left.
Lewisville or Don Herring Mitsubishi in Dallas might be able to give you a good deal. Not sure if they have a GG SE. Either way, it's gonna take some leg work to get the Evo you want. Expect to fly to your car or for your car to be shipped to you. Good luck. You won't regret it.
That's bull***t.
Advertising as "new" a car with 1100 miles on it is a violation of federal consumer protection laws. No sale is required.
If you're ticked off, in a few minutes you can file a complaint against the dealership with the FTC:
https://rn.ftc.gov/pls/dod/wsolcq$.startup?Z_ORG_CODE=PU01
Your name won't be disclosed to the dealership and filing a complaint has no impact on you with "the feds" (i.e. taxes, etc). (Also, ignore the prompts about payment to the company, etc. - they're appropriate for other complaints).
What a bunch of a**clowns.

There are millions of demo cars over the country. Demo cars are brand new, all you have to do is sign some sheet saying that you know it is a demo car because demo cars are never registered with the DMV. When I worked at a dealership, we usually just leased demo cars because you got a better deal, but some people buy them.

Edmunds.com has a fairly good database of dealerships. Pick state, then mitsu, then a list of cities will come up.

Get it from the dealerships registered with EvoM.
From what I've seen, they have the best prices, even if you factor in shipping, and I'm sure they have one in the color, and with the options you want.
