well im kind of new to evo and cars in general and im looking forward to learning things and im just wanted to know some of the basic
1) what are the major factors that increase speed in a evo i know the basics just asking like is intake necessary and etc plz help
2) what are the major brands good ones not like aem
3) what would you need to get around 350 whp with stock turbo on evo 9

lots of people with IX's just flash their ecu with basic bolt-on's and make around that hp.

What kind of speed are you looking to increase? Top End MPH Speed? any added HP will increase speed. I would say get a staged package from one of the top venders.

 

Top brands are HKS, Injen, Greddy,Apexi, AEM, AMS... There are alot more but thats just a few.

 

a full 3" turbo back exhaust like buschur sells + a tune would really wake the car up.
