how many miles are on your car?
if you knew you had no clutch, why would you take it to the dealer to have them try and warranty it. clutch is a wear item and its NEVER covered under warranty, unless it breaks somehow with like under 1,000 miles on it.
so im not sure what your complaining about, plus saying you race the car and you expect them to cover it...not the smartest thing i've heard
id buy a aftermarket clutch and have them install it, since they will charge you for taking it apart and putting it back together, you might as well just save yourself the headache and tell them to install a new clutch...DO NOT GET A STOCK CLUTCH PUT IN.

PLEASE people do not take your car to the Devil.
You're a moron...The reason Mitsu voids warranties so easily because people like you abuse the car. They expect you to drive responsibly which seems to be difficult for you. Originally Posted by tweakdsm

Re-sufrace stock flywheel and you're done. It should cost you no more than $1000+ with new clutch+labor. IT takes from 5 to 8 hours to swap the clutch.PLEASE people do not take your car to the Devil.
DONT LAUNCH YOUR CAR UNLESS YOU'RE WILLING TO DEAL WITH THE CONSEQUENCES!!

Dont re-use the stock flywheel. I suggest getting a kit that replaces it. It is the root of the Evo's problem - it does a very poor job of dissipating heat and that is what fries the stock clutch surface. Most Evo clutches that go out have plenty of material left on them, they are just completely glazed or cooked.
This info is not from personal experience as I'm still on the stock clutch but I've read enough articles to know that this is what cooks Evo clutches.
